    Best Times to Visit:

    While Volcan Poas National Park is a year-round destination, the best times to visit are during the dry season, from December to April. During these months, the skies are clearer, providing unobstructed views of the volcanic crater and surrounding landscapes. Be sure to get there as early as possible as it is your best chance to see the crater before the clouds move in!

    How to Get There:

    We had a rental car and were able to drive ourselves to the National Park. It is a great day trip from San Jose and there are some tour options that leave from the city.
